SOMATIC HEALING

If you can observe your own experience with a minimum of interference, and if you don't try to control what you experience, if you simply allow things to happen and you observe them, then you will be able to discover things about yourself that you did not know before. You can discover little pieces of the inner structures of your mind, the very things that make you who you are.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A little more information about the process if you decide somatic healing sessions are right for you.

Much like a relationship with a therapist, Hakomi-inspired Somatic Healing Sessions are based on the buillding of an attuned relationship between Practitioner and Client. Sessions will be 1:1 with Kaci, and is a collaborative process of curiosity and experimental experience through guided inner-exploration for the client.

My practice is private-pay only, though I try to make rates as accessible as possible. Each 1:1 sessions lasts 60 minutes and is $80. As a part of your healing process, private breathwork sessions may be recommended throughout the process, which last 75-90 minutes, but cost the same.

Hakomi is derived from a Hopi word that directly translates to "How do you stand in relation to these many realms?"

Hakomi as a modality is just that—the process of building deeper relation and understanding with how you're organized around life.

Instead of cognitive awareness and story, we work with what's accessible and alive in our present-moment experience through deepening somatic awareness and accessing sensations and emotions we may normally miss.

It's a beautiful exploration of what wants to emerge in real-time by following the wisdom of your body and learning about how it responds to life.

Every client experience is different; but the beauty of Hakomi is that there's no agenda other than curious exploration for deeper connection with yourself.

Sometimes that may provide emotional break throughs, sometimes it may provide a deeper sense of connection to your body or your long-standing patterns of behavior that perhaps you didn't even realize you were engaging in. Sometimes it may facilitate the opportunity for release or re-patterning, or offer realizations about how you relate to people and the world around you that once were unconscious, but are now within the ability to choose.

This is a slow, long-game process of deepening your relationship with yourself in an effective, intentional way of meeting what's true and alive in the present moment with curiosity.
